Who we are

About us

Our platform enables people to take meaningful action at every level of government.

We believe democracy is built on transparent information. By aggregating democracy’s data from every level of government and making it actionable via accessible products, BallotReady works to enable all constituents to fully participate in civic life.

Our Mission

BallotReady was founded in 2015 to inform voters of their down-ballot candidates before heading to the ballot box.

Since then, we have expanded our mission to provide every meaningful action a user can take to fully participate in civic life.

We now serve hundreds of organizations and tens of millions of people each year seeking to build a better democracy.

What we do

Data

It all starts with providing the most comprehensive government database available nationwide

Our research team spends thousands of hours reading statutes, tracking court cases, sending faxes, and filing FOIA requests to provide data on judges, cities, county commissions, and school boards.

We gather data directly from local election offices to provide the most up-to-date information for our users.

Customers

We serve hundreds of organizations to mobilize and inform people including businesses, unions, nonprofits, libraries, media companies, campaigns and more.
